A scholar of biographical writing and a writer of creative nonfiction, in her work, Oline (oh!-‘lighn) Eaton (she/her) examines the intersections of celebrity, feelings, feminism, language, and trauma. A teacher of first year writing at Howard University, she is also an adjunct at the American University of Afghanistan. Her second book, The Teacher in Space Project—a biography of Christa McAuliffe and meditation on how we write history right now— will be released in January 2026.
